Simple chocolate chia pudding that works as breakfast, snack, or dessert depending on how you top it.

Ingredients

  • 1 dl chia seeds
  • 3 dl plant milk
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2-3 tbsp agave or maple syrup
  • (optional) vanilla powder or extract

Instructions

  1. Blend: Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Use a proper blender (not immersion blender) for the best mousse-like texture.

  2. Chill: Transfer to jars or bowls. Refrigerate at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

  3. Serve: Top as desired.

Notes

Toppings:

  • Breakfast: Fresh fruit, berries, granola
  • Dessert: Whipped cream and chopped dark chocolate

Chia seeds: High in calcium (5x more than milk) and vitamin C (7x more than oranges).

Texture: The longer it chills, the thicker it gets. Stir in a splash of milk if too thick after chilling overnight.
